A critical part of an academic institution is ensuring that our academics remain engaged in academic discourse – part of that is through the dissemination of thoughts and ideas.
We are extremely proud of Dr Mario Landman, Dean: Design, Professor Paul Singh, Research Supervisor and Mark Fuller, Lecturer who represented Da Vinci at the 2020 Council on Higher Education Quality Promotion Conference held at the CSIR International Convention Centre this week.
The theme for 2020 was “Enhancing Academic Success through the Involvement of Students in Quality Assurance and Promotion in Higher Education.”
- Dr Landman’s paper was titled: From user experience management to student experience management: An integrated ICT – driven model for holistic academic quality assurance and student support
- Prof. Paul Singh’s paper was titled: Involvement in Quality Assurance and Promotion of Research by Master’s and Doctoral Degree Students
- Mark Fuller presented a paper co-written by himself and Prof Krishna Govender and Rinaka Moodliar titled: Enhancing the Student Experience to Improve Student Success: Listening to the Voice of the Student
